Why Give?
God calls us to help those in need. Giving is a way to connect you to those who need help. When you give, your monetary support goes to helping the children, widows, orphans, churches that need support.
- Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to act. Do not say to your neighbor, “Come back tomorrow and I’ll give it to you”—when you already have it with you. — Proverbs 3:27-28
- A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed. — Proverbs 11:25
- The generous will themselves be blessed, for they share their food with the poor. — Proverbs 22:9
- The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. — Psalm 9:9
There are many more scriptures in the Bible that explain why God honors a giving heart. Be a part of a change in the world today!
Partner With Us
Nothing has ever been accomplished without prayer. Before, during and after we do anything, we pray. Prayer is essential to every ministry, for every missionary, and every church started by "Good Samaritan" Ministries. More than ever, missionaries need protection, blessing, and guidance of the Holy Spirit to do their work. Join us in this important work. Jesus said: "Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field” (Matthew 9:38).
No one has ever become poor by giving.
We make a living by what we get. We make a life by what we give.
Think of giving not as a duty but as a privilege.
