Christmas gifts
We sincerely thank everyone who generously donated funds for Christmas gifts this year.
Ukraine
In Ukraine, nearly all our missionary stations hosted special events to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. Children from various backgrounds were invited, including those who may not typically hear about the true meaning of Christmas. The children were deeply touched and grateful to hear the Christmas story and receive a gift. The Christmas season provides a wonderful opportunity to share the message of Christ with children and parents who may not yet know the real significance of these holidays.
Ukraine & Moldova
Christmas gifts were also distributed to children from families participating in our “Help for Widows of Ukraine/Moldova” project.
India
We also sent finance to our contacts in four regions of India, which were used for:
- Christmas gifts for orphan girls in Siliguri. (Pastor Ajay)
- Christmas gifts for people living in leper colonies. (Bishop Jacob)
- A Christmas celebration with a dinner, cake and fruit at an orphanage in Tanuka. Children received new clothes and personal hygiene items as gifts. (Pastor David)
- In Jagdalpur, India, during a Christmas outreach event, children received Christmas gifts. As in the previous year, the church purchased and distributed Bibles to those in need. Additionally, widows in the church were blessed with gifts, made possible by your support. (Pastor Sudhir)
On December 15th, the faces of all the children shone with joy. They wore the new clothes you generously gifted and expressed heartfelt gratitude for your love. The children had such a wonderful time at the Christmas event, that for a moment, They forgot that they were orphans. They are so proud to know the Lord Jesus, who protects them and makes them happy.
